Capcom-licensed Monster Hunter Outlanders mobile game starts test in China on April 29

Capcom-licensed Monster Hunter Outlanders will begin a restricted Android beta in China on April 29.

The game is being developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group and is the first licensed Monster Hunter mobile action game in mainland China.

The test will allow in-game purchases and wipe progress, giving Capcom and TiMi a chance to evaluate monetization and gameplay.

Outlanders keeps classic Monster Hunter combat while adding new systems such as companion hunting and an open-world setting.
