League of Legends' Faker becomes first esports athlete to appear on Korean postage stamps

South Korea will issue a commemorative postage stamp for Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyeok in October 2026.

Faker is a six-time League of Legends World Champion who began his professional career in 2013.

Korean stamps have honored presidents and historical figures but have not previously featured an esports athlete.

There is a 20-day public objection period before the new stamp is finalized.
