As if we needed more problems, Pixel users now struggle with wonky eSIMs

Some Pixel 9, Pixel 10, and earlier Pixel users are reporting eSIMs that won’t install, be recognized, or activate after recent Google updates.

The problem appears to be tied to the devices themselves, not carrier outages, according to reports from Android Central, Android Authority, and Pixel forums.

Affected phones include models such as Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL, with complaints linked to the April and May security updates.

Google is reportedly preparing a fix for a future update, but users affected now may be unable to activate mobile service until it arrives.
