Red Hat announced the RHEL Long-Life Add-on at Red Hat Summit 2026.

The yearly subscription extends security and bug fixes for selected RHEL versions after extended support ends, with no fixed end date.

The offer is aimed at long-running enterprise and regulated environments that need the same OS version for years.

It strengthens RHEL’s role in mission-critical infrastructure and the broader enterprise Linux market.
