Dropbox co-founder Houston to step down as CEO and become chairman

Dropbox co-founder and CEO Drew Houston will step down as CEO and become board chair.

Product chief Ashraf Alkarmi will succeed him, first as co-CEO and then as sole CEO.

Houston said he plans to focus on launching an AI-related business line.

Mike Torres will take over as the new chief product officer.
