Intuit to lay off over 3,000 employees to refocus on AI

Intuit will lay off about 3,000 employees, or 17% of its workforce, according to a Reuters report citing an internal memo from CEO Sasan Goodarzi.

The company said the cuts are meant to simplify operations and redirect more resources toward AI development.

Intuit is pushing AI across products including TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma.
