Nintendo Switch 2 System Update 22.1.0 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Nintendo released system update Ver. 22.1.0 for Switch and Switch 2 on April 6, 2026.

The patch notes list general system stability improvements for both platforms following Ver. 22.0.0.

Dataminers previously reported icon changes in Ver. 22.0.0 and Nintendo Music was also updated with Splatoon 3 tracks.

The update arrived ahead of free-to-start Pokémon Champions and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream releases.
