Snowflake Cortex Code is now called CoCo and performs autonomous development tasks

Snowflake renamed Cortex Code to CoCo and expanded it into a more autonomous AI development assistant.

New capabilities include Automations for recurring tasks, Cloud Agents for secure execution, and a Skill Catalog for sharing workflows.

CoCo now integrates across desktop, mobile, Slack, VS Code, Excel, and Claude Code to reach more developers.

Snowflake also showcased Datastream and a CoCo integration for building real-time pipelines and AI apps on live data.
