Waymo begins public service rollout of robotaxi "Ojai" equipped with 6th-generation autonomous driving technology

Waymo has launched its sixth-generation Waymo Driver robotaxi, Ojai, for a limited group of users.

The initial rollout is live in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Phoenix.

Waymo plans to expand next to Denver, Las Vegas, and San Diego.

Full availability for all users is expected in the second half of 2026.
