How I developed my capstone project: a smart pot for plant monitoring and automatic irrigation

A capstone project built a smart plant pot that monitors soil moisture and automatically triggers irrigation.

The system combines NodeMCU ESP8266, a moisture sensor, pump, solenoid valve, and Raspberry Pi with a web stack.

A Laravel backend, MariaDB database, and Vue.js dashboard provide history, image capture, and remote access to plant data.

The project shows how IoT and web automation can reduce watering errors and improve plant care remotely.
