Path of Exile 2's complete endgame redesign is great for everyone, especially newcomers

Grinding Gear Games unveiled Path of Exile 2 patch 0.5, led by the new Runes of Aldur league and a major endgame redesign.

The update adds Atlas Ascendancies, new crafting and support systems, expanded Expedition content, and several quality-of-life improvements.

GGG said this could be the last major update before 1.0, helping define the game’s final shape for launch.
