Windows 11 may soon let you uninstall the AI models Microsoft keeps installing on your PC

A hidden AI model management page has been spotted in a Windows 11 Insider build.

The page may show details for local AI models such as publisher, version, install date, size, and usage.

It also appears to let users uninstall at least some models, with Phi Silica confirmed as removable so far.

If shipped broadly, it could give Windows 11 users more transparency and control over built-in AI features, especially on Copilot+ PCs.
