SK hynix places record $8 billion order for ASML EUV lithography machines — should pay for up to 30 EUV machines over two years, serving HBM and advanced DRAM production

SK hynix will purchase EUV lithography equipment worth 11.9 trillion won by end of 2027, sK hynix regulatory filing disclosed the equipment purchase.

Order timeline runs through December 2027, contract runs through December 2027.

EUV scanners will be deployed to M15X plant in Cheongju and Yongin Semiconductor Cluster, deployment locations named in the filing and reporting.
