Feeling carsick? Samsung thinks your earbuds can help

Samsung released Hearapy, a free Android app that plays a 100Hz bass tone to counter motion sickness.

The app plays the tone at about 75–85 dB and includes a timer and volume guidance.

Nagoya University research found 100Hz audio can affect the vestibular system and reduce nausea.

Samsung recommends Galaxy Buds 4 Pro but says any earbuds that reproduce 100Hz should work.
