iOS 27 Finally Unlinks Alarm Volume From Your iPhone Ringer

Apple added a new Alarms and Timers control in iOS 27 that lets iPhone alarm and timer volume be set separately from the ringer.

Users can turn off Match Ringtone Volume and adjust alarm or timer loudness with its own slider.

A separate option also lets alerts and system sounds use independent volume settings.

The update removes a long-standing iPhone limitation, making wake-ups more reliable even when the ringer is silenced.
