Airbnb gets into hotels, expands AI for host onboarding and customer support

Airbnb is officially listing boutique hotels in 20 cities, starting with major markets like New York, Paris, London, Madrid, Rome, and Singapore.

It also added hotel-focused search filters and price protections, making the platform more competitive for travelers comparing stays.

Beyond hotels, Airbnb is expanding into travel services such as experiences, with partners including Viator and GetYourGuide.

The company is rolling out AI tools for host listing creation, review summaries, wishlist summaries, and customer support to streamline the user experience.
