Lego Makes Pokemon Interactive With Smart Bricks. I Got to Play Trainer

Lego announced 12 Pokemon Smart Play sets at SXSW London, expanding its crossover with the franchise.

The new Smart Brick adds a chip, sensors, speakers, and LEDs so compatible Pokemon models can light up, react, and battle.

Larger sets include the Smart Brick, while smaller ones require it separately; the lineup is designed to work across the range.

Hands-on demos with Eevee and Charmander showed character-specific effects, hinting at a broader shift toward interactive toys.
