Apple is rolling out a new App Store subscription option that bills users monthly at an annual-equivalent rate.

The plan still requires a 12-month commitment, and canceled subscriptions will trigger charges for the remaining installments.

Developers can start testing the format now through App Store Connect and Xcode, ahead of iOS 26.4.

The feature is not launching initially in the U.S. or Singapore, signaling a broader push for clearer subscription terms.
