Gemini Can Now Generate Files Directly in the Chat

Google has added in-chat file generation to Gemini, letting users create files directly from prompts.

Supported formats include Docs, Sheets, Word, PDF, TXT, RTF, Excel, CSV, LaTeX, and Markdown.

Users can download files or export them to Google Drive, with the feature rolling out worldwide.

The update aims to cut copy-paste and reformatting work, making Gemini more useful for everyday productivity.
