Microsoft wants you to know Copilot AI is not just for entertainment

Microsoft said Copilot’s “entertainment only” disclaimer is legacy wording from its Bing Chat days and will be updated.

The terms of use clashed with Microsoft’s marketing of Copilot as a productivity assistant for Windows and Microsoft 365.

The mismatch drew attention to the gap between AI product claims and the legal disclaimers that still govern them.
