ASUS ROG’s first DDR5 memory kit looks fast, flashy, and absurdly expensive

ASUS has launched its first ROG-branded DDR5 memory kit, the ROG DDR5 RGB Edition 20.

The 48GB kit comes as 2x24GB DDR5-6000 with CL26 timings, RGB lighting, and Aura Sync support.

A BIOS-based ROG Mode can reportedly boost compatible systems to DDR5-8000 on supported ROG motherboards.

Priced at around 5,999 yuan in China, it underscores the premium and increasingly ecosystem-locked direction of high-end PC parts.
