Introducing Claude Haiku 4.5

Anthropic has released Claude Haiku 4.5 to all users and developers.

The small model can match or beat earlier frontier models on some tasks while running faster.

Anthropic says it costs about one-third as much as Claude Sonnet 4 and is more than twice as fast, priced at $1/$5 per million input and output tokens.

It is aimed at coding, computer use, real-time assistants, and multi-agent workflows, with improved safety results as well.

The launch could make real-time AI tools cheaper, faster, and more responsive for coding, support, and other applications.
