Uber to open 2 campuses in India to support product development, operations

Uber will open two engineering campuses in Bengaluru and Hyderabad by the end of 2027.

The new sites will add capacity for about 9,600 people and support more technical hiring.

Uber is also building its first India data center with Adani Group, targeted to launch in Q4 2026.

The expansion highlights India’s growing role in Uber’s global engineering, AI, and infrastructure strategy.
