Samsung is already rethinking the TriFold, and this time, it’s starting with the hinge

Samsung is reportedly developing TriFold 2, a new triple-fold phone, and redesigning its hinge to make the device slimmer.

The updated hinge has passed most verification stages and could potentially be used across future Fold and Flip models.

A thinner hinge could make Samsung’s triple-fold concept more practical while improving the broader foldable lineup.

Some reports suggest the device could launch around mid-2027.
