Googlebook is coming... but what about Chromebooks? Here's what Google has to say

Google unveiled Googlebook, a new laptop category built around Gemini and Android.

The company said many Chromebooks may get migration paths, but some devices may not be eligible.

Google has not confirmed whether future laptops will stay on ChromeOS or move to the rumored Aluminium OS.

More details on the platform strategy are expected later this year.
