Nvidia kills Windows XP-era Control Panel after 20 years of dedicated service

Nvidia is retiring its classic Control Panel on consumer systems and moving graphics settings to the newer Nvidia app.

The legacy tool has been in its current form since 2006 and supported very old GPUs, making it a long-running Windows utility.

It will still be installed for RTX Pro, RTX, and Quadro users on workstation drivers because some professional features have not been moved yet.
