Gmail rolling out AI Inbox beta for AI Ultra subscribers

Google has begun rolling out an AI Inbox beta to Google AI Ultra subscribers.

The AI Inbox adds a briefing-style interface above the regular Inbox that shows suggested to-dos and topics to catch up on.

The feature is powered by Gemini 3 and processes data inside a dedicated engineered privacy environment.

Users can disable the AI features by turning off smart features, and Google says Workspace content is not used to train models.
