Microsoft’s Edge Copilot update uses AI to pull information from across your tabs

Microsoft is upgrading Edge with Copilot features that can analyze open tabs, summarize pages, compare products, and answer questions from browsing context.

The company is retiring Copilot Mode and adding new tools such as Study and Learn, AI-generated podcasts from tabs, and an inline writing assistant.

Edge will also gain browsing-history access, long-term memory, a redesigned new tab page, and Journeys for organizing past activity.

On mobile, Copilot will be able to share the screen, extending Microsoft’s AI-assisted browsing experience across devices.
