The Wheel of Time books are being adapted into an asymmetric board game

Dire Wolf is launching War of the Dragon: The Wheel of Time, a new asymmetrical board game based on Robert Jordan’s novels.

The game centers on Rand al’Thor versus the Shadow, covering the full 14-book saga and its Last Battle finale.

Players can choose an approachable Hero Mode or a larger Epic Mode, with miniatures and multiple pricing tiers.

A Kickstarter campaign is planned, giving fans a new way to experience the original story beyond the canceled TV adaptation.
