Nexperia denies that it intends to harm Wingtech shareholders

Wingtech reported a major loss in its 2025 annual report after writing down its Nexperia stake following the loss of control of the Dutch chipmaker.

Nexperia said it does not intend to harm Wingtech shareholders and said it had cooperated with auditors.

Auditor RSM said it still lacked access to Nexperia data needed to verify Wingtech’s accounts.

The dispute follows Dutch court and government intervention that removed founder Zhang Xuezheng as CEO and pushed Nexperia to operate independently.

The case underscores an ongoing governance and ownership fight that is affecting Wingtech’s finances, audit process, and reporting.
