Google Fi hands out $20 credit after outage

Google Fi experienced a service outage that began late on March 31, causing some phones to show a 'SIM card is no longer active' error.

The outage also disrupted mobile data for affected users and lasted a few hours before Google fixed the issue.

Google is issuing a $20 service credit to affected Fi users, which appears on the next bill as 'Credit for service outage.'

Credits are being applied selectively and can be checked in the Fi app under Fi savings > Earned.
