Broadcom brings secure AI agent environment to VMware Tanzu

Broadcom unveiled VMware Tanzu Platform Agent Foundations, a secure-by-default runtime for autonomous AI agents on VMware Cloud Foundation.

The platform adds deny-by-default access, isolated secrets, and zero-trust controls to improve enterprise security and governance.

It will ship with Tanzu Platform 10.4 and includes prebuilt agents, a curated service catalog, and automated infrastructure management.

A central AI gateway will support both public and private models, making production deployment of AI agents more practical.
