Your Walmart might be 3D printed — firm building more than a dozen 3D-printed Walmart expansions with concrete-printing robots

Alquist 3D is using its A1 Series concrete printers, including the rail-mounted A1X, to build Walmart expansion projects across multiple U.S. states.

The company says the robots can print tall concrete walls quickly with smaller crews, supported by partners including FMGI.

Alquist says it has already sold 14 A1 systems, signaling one of the largest U.S. rollouts of 3D concrete printing so far.

The project suggests 3D concrete printing is moving from pilot work into real commercial construction, with potential gains in speed, labor, and material efficiency.
