Bluesky released a new app version integrated with Standard.site, expanding support for long-form content on the AT Protocol.

Articles and newsletters published via services like Replit, Pocket, and Offprint can now be read in Bluesky as dynamic link cards.

The move lets independent writers and publishers keep ownership of their content while using Bluesky’s user base as a distribution channel.

It also highlights a decentralized alternative to X’s closed, paywalled long-post model and aligns with WordPress’s AT Protocol plugin rollout.
