Sony's True RGB TVs Promise Better Color and Come in Massively Huge Sizes

Sony unveiled the Bravia 9 II and Bravia 7 II, its first RGB LED TVs with independent red, green, and blue backlight control.

The company says the new sets deliver its best-ever color volume and improved off-axis color, aiming to compete with OLED and rival mini-LED TVs.

The Bravia 9 II adds anti-reflective coating and upgraded audio, while the Bravia 7 II is already on sale and the Bravia 9 II is available for preorder.

Sony’s launch underscores its push into premium large-screen TVs ahead of CES 2026.
