OpenAI announces personal finance tools in ChatGPT for power users

OpenAI is previewing personal finance tools in ChatGPT for U.S. Pro users.

The feature connects bank and investment accounts through Plaid so ChatGPT can review balances, transactions, liabilities, spending, and goals.

Users can get dashboard-style insights for budgeting, travel spending, investment risk checks, and subscription review.

OpenAI says users can disconnect accounts, delete finance memories, or use temporary chats, and an Intuit integration is planned.
