AirDrop sharing for older Samsung Galaxy devices could be here very soon

Samsung is rolling out a Quick Share update that adds AirDrop support to older Galaxy models. The update is appearing on Galaxy S22 through S25 devices but the feature is not yet functional. The option shows up on One UI 8 and One UI 8.5 beta builds, suggesting a wider rollout is coming. Samsung added AirDrop to the Galaxy S26 series last week, and the company may enable the feature server-side later.
