China’s Zeekr unveils EV with CATL’s ultra-fast charging battery, 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds

Zeekr will launch the refreshed 009 luxury electric MPV on May 19.

The update adds a 900V architecture and CATL’s 6C Qilin battery for much faster charging.

It also brings a Thor-U chip, new safety and driver-assist features, and dual-motor power up to 680 kW.

Zeekr says the upgraded 009 can sprint from 0-62 mph in as little as 3.9 seconds.
