The Pixel Fold's cover screen is shutting off, but there's an easy fix

Some Google Pixel Fold owners report the outer cover screen going black after boot.

In some cases, the display stays unusable even after a full battery drain, though the boot logo still appears.

A GitHub app that switches between the inner and outer displays can temporarily bring the cover screen back.
