Verisign DNSSEC Debugger: How to Audit Your DNS Trust Chain

Verisign Labs offers a free DNSSEC Debugger to audit a domain’s DNSSEC chain of trust and pinpoint where validation fails.

The tool checks key records such as DNSKEY, RRSIG, DS, NSEC, and NSEC3, and can start from a user-provided trust anchor.

It shows success or failure at each step of the DNSSEC chain, making delegation or key publication problems easier to diagnose.

For infrastructure and DNS admins, it helps verify signatures and confirm that DNS responses have not been altered.
