Zyphra & AMD Launch New Open AI Platform Powered By 15MW MI355X GPUs With Expansion Planned To MI450 & Beyond

Zyphra launched Zyphra Cloud, an inference-first AI cloud platform built with TensorWave on thousands of AMD Instinct GPUs.

The initial deployment uses 15MW of MI355X compute and targets long-context inference and agentic workflows for open-weight models.

Zyphra plans to add reinforcement learning, fine-tuning, and support for future AMD GPUs such as MI450.

The launch strengthens AMD-based infrastructure for high-performance AI and adds pressure in the U.S.-hosted open model cloud market.
