Vbot Delivers First Robot Dog to Horizon Robotics Founder, Marking Consumer Embodied AI Milestone

Vbot delivered its first consumer robot dog to Horizon Robotics founder and CEO Yu Kai on June 1, 2026, marking Horizon Robotics’ 11th anniversary.

The handoff was framed as a milestone for China’s embodied AI sector, as quadruped robots move from exhibitions and mall demos into consumer delivery.

Vbot has also begun version 1.2 upgrades and plans deeper collaboration with Horizon Robotics on perception, planning, and execution.

The shift suggests competition in consumer robotics is now centered on practical intelligence, user experience, and continuous product iteration.
