macOS 26.5 public beta 1 now available, here’s how to install it

Apple released macOS 26.5 public beta 1, build 25F5042g, matching the developer beta.

Users can enroll at beta.apple.com and install via System Settings → General → Software Update → Beta Updates.

The public beta currently emphasizes bug fixes and stability and does not add major new features.

Future beta builds may still introduce additional features before the final macOS 26.5 release.
