The company that owns Moog, Akai Pro, and Numark is buying Native Instruments

inMusic is acquiring Native Instruments after the company entered bankruptcy proceedings in Germany.

Native Instruments’ software and brands, including Traktor and Kontakt, will continue operating within inMusic’s portfolio.

The deal brings major music hardware and software names under one owner, alongside Akai Pro, Moog, and Numark.

It gives Native Instruments a path forward, while potentially reshaping product roadmaps and competition in music tech.
