Gboard Material 3 Expressive redesign of shortcuts more widely rolling out

Google is widening beta access to a Material 3 Expressive redesign for Gboard shortcuts and related controls.

The new layout replaces the old grid with rounded pill-style rows, larger labels, and swipe navigation.

Updated customization options are also appearing in Gboard beta version 17.3.

The redesign is not yet available in the stable release, so only beta users are seeing it for now.
