Google-owned Japanese money transfer app pring will shut down all services on Dec. 1, 2026.

The expected integration with Google Pay never happened after the 2021 acquisition.

New signups were already halted in 2024, with fund transfer license abolition set for Aug. 2026.

From September 2026, balance refunds will be handled as the service winds down.
