Android joins the ‘AirDrop circle’ too — Google reports expanding compatible devices: “No more being left out of sharing memories”

Google Japan says Quick Share support for AirDrop compatibility is expanding beyond the Pixel 10 series to the Pixel 9 series and Galaxy devices.

The rollout aims to make nearby file sharing between Android and iPhone easier across more phones.

This should reduce the hassle of sharing photos and files when using different device ecosystems.
