Some of Galaxy S26’s new tricks are heading to older Samsung flagships and foldables

Samsung is expanding Galaxy S26-style features to select older Galaxy devices through the One UI 8.5 beta.

The rollout covers the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and S25 FE, but is limited to beta users in certain regions.

The update adds Call Screening, Creative Studio, improved Photo Assist, and Audio Eraser support for third-party apps.

It also brings some interface changes, giving older flagships and foldables newer AI and camera tools without a device upgrade.
