Samsung may finally fix the Galaxy S Ultra’s biggest weakness

Samsung may finally boost battery capacity on its next premium phones after years of using the same 5,000mAh class cells.

A report claims the Galaxy S27 Ultra could pack a 5,534mAh-rated battery, while the S27 Pro may use a 5,087mAh-rated cell.

The upgrade is expected to come from silicon-carbon anode technology, which Samsung has already used in its foldables.

If accurate, the change could improve endurance and help Samsung close the battery-life gap with rival Android flagships.
