China’s electric vehicle exports rise 68.7% in H1 2026

China’s electric vehicle exports surged 68.7% year on year in the first half of 2026, according to customs data released July 14.

Exports of electric motorcycles, bicycles, locomotives, lithium batteries and wind turbines also posted strong growth.

AI-integrated intelligent bionic robots exceeded 10,000 units and were sold to more than 90 markets.

Electronic components and computer parts grew at double-digit rates, boosting overall export performance.
